Example Scenarios
What support looks like
- A Lānaʻi high school volleyball team qualifies for a state tournament on Oʻahu. OHPF funds inter-island flights, lodging, and meals.
- A community member organizes a monthly cooking and nutrition class for Lānaʻi seniors. OHPF provides funding for ingredients, supplies, and an instructor stipend.
- A group of parents organizes a youth basketball league and needs funds for equipment, court time, and uniforms.

Not covered under this area
- Medical treatment, therapy, or clinical services (addressed through Emergency Care Support or community healthcare providers)
- Professional athletic training, coaching contracts, or club team membership fees functioning as ongoing personal expenses
- Fitness equipment or gym memberships for personal use
- Travel for recreation or vacation purposes without a health, athletic, or wellness objective
