Support the Foundation

Every gift — at any level — goes directly to the people of Lānaʻi. Two pathways to Founding recognition. One mission.

Two Pathways to Founding Recognition

Early. Sustained. Both permanent.

The Foundation honors two distinct paths to its highest recognition. Both carry permanent legacy status and include the right to establish a named fund. Neither can be earned after its window closes.

Pathway 1

Founding Circle Member

A one-time gift during the silent phase — before the public launch, before the momentum, before anyone else stepped forward.

Individual: $25,000 · Corporate: $100,000

Pathway 2

Founding Partner / Founding Corporate Partner

An annual gift during the inaugural campaign, sustained for five consecutive years. Founding designation and named fund right are earned — not purchased.

Individual: $10,000/yr · Corporate: $25,000/yr

What is a Named Fund?

Your name — or your organization's name — on every award, forever.

A named fund means you choose the name that the fund and any scholarships, grants, or awards distributed from it will carry. That name appears on every recipient’s award notification, in the Foundation’s annual report, and in any public recognition of recipients. The donor’s name becomes part of the lasting legacy each recipient carries forward.

To preserve the independence and integrity of the Foundation’s grantmaking, named-fund donors do not serve on the selection committee that awards funds bearing their name, and immediate family members are likewise ineligible to serve. All award decisions are made by the Foundation Board in accordance with OHPF’s Conflict of Interest Policy and IRS 501(c)(3) requirements.

What is a Named Fund?

Step 1

Begin giving at any tier during the inaugural campaign.

Step 2

Sustain giving at that tier — or higher — for five consecutive years.

Step 3

Earn your permanent Founding designation at the highest tier held. The clock must be uninterrupted.

Upgrading

If you move to a higher tier before completing five years, time at the lower tier counts toward the clock at the new tier. Benefits of the new tier begin immediately.

Founding designations are permanently closed to new donors after the inaugural campaign ends.
